ROOTED! 🌱 During the year our Children, Youth & Families Minister spends regular time each week working at two of our local schools helping the children connect with the outdoors. This helps build our connection with the schools, support the schools in improving the wellbeing and resilience of the children and enables us to connect with the children. During the summer holidays, a team from Christ Church ran a ‘Rooted Holiday Club’ based at Bluecoat School Coronation Garden. This was a three-day outdoor holiday club for primary school aged children featuring creative crafts, gardening activities and nature detective activities, with a short time of discussion about an aspect of faith each day. The children and adults had a great time and can’t wait for next year!
